How I work

Principles. The work behind them is on the Work page.

  1. 01

I arrive with the frame, not the backlog.

I define the problem, the success boundaries, and what we will not build. Then I bring a recommendation instead of collecting wishes.

  2. 02

I frame solutions so decisions are easy to make.

I present options, cost, risk, and a recommendation. Foundation work goes up as aligned information plus a call to make.

  3. 03

    Foundations before feature volume.

When a platform is under load, reliability work comes before more features. Quality gates sit in the release path.

  4. 04

If consensus will not close, I write a recommendation.

When the room will not close, I write the options and a recommendation instead of keeping a committee open.

  5. 05

    One path upward.

I filter escalations so only what must be seen goes up. Teams keep a single path. I absorb the complexity that does not belong in that room.

  6. 06

AI as leverage; human judgment on the critical path.

Automation handles the routine. Sensitive messages still reach a person. A human owns real risk.

  7. 07

    Written by default.

I prefer written contact and written analysis. Decisions go up in writing: options, cost, risk, recommendation.

  8. 08

    People work.

Hiring, performance reviews and growth plans sit in the role. The title arrived after the ownership did.
